Ever wonder why people vanish? for example mats, and dyersbay who hasnt been around since the beginning of october. weird.

I didn't notice that mats was gone until just this week. dyersbay has been missing in action (of and on) for most of the year.

But to answer your question, yes, I do wonder why some people disappear.

One thing I noticed is it always seems everytime I come on here there's like 20 usernames at the bottom and then I read a topic or something and look again and there's like 3 people... like everybody saw my name and just bolted.

Maybe it's just a browser thing. Sometimes when I visit Hipbase, it shows the users that were logged on when I last visited, instead of the ones that are online now. This happens especially on days that I've visited Hipbase multiple times. Once I refresh it shows me the correct thing. Maybe your browser does the same thing: it shows 20 cause last time you logged in 20 people were logged in. Then when you check next time, the browser has refreshed and it shows the actual people that are logged in.

It's too bad, it seemed like mats was really on the ball with that private hipbaser show idea. I know that others have talked about getting the idea up and running again, but it seems to have fizzled out. It's hard to carry on the process without knowing what's already been done, and what proposals and responses have been made, and when, and by whom...

It's not because I don't like it here anymore. The only problem is time. I've got too much to do. And as English is not my native language, it takes even more time to read all the messages.
