Yeah... Being a California boy, we don't get a lot of Hip here. The first single might get minor rotation on one SF station... and that will be that.

Radio? You crazy kids and your radio with your bippin and your boppin...

Seriously though...I remember I heard Scar on Edge 102 (Toronto) a couple of times but not much lately. It seems even the so called alternative station would rather play Courage or Twist My Arm over a new song. But I'm not a huge radio listener.

no offence to "Gus" I like the song, but off IBE I dont think its the most radio-friendly song on that album. I think Makeshift or Everywhere would be more suitable. IMO. Personally I like Copenhagen the best but I dont think too many would agree with me, there's just something about the song its soo catchy and I love the lyrics. But the swearing would put the radio stations off some of the songs. But hey Ill take any hip song over that Nicklecrap anyday. There should be an all Hip radio station, 24 hours of Hip and, hell there's enough bootlegs and albums to keep going for ages. :thumb:

The Edge website lists Nashville as being in its current rotation... but I haven't heard it much. Of course I don't listen to the radio much... just as my alarm goes off in the morning, then in the car going to work and then coming home... that's about it.

Maybe they'll add Gus soon... if not, oh well, I've got my CD! :thumb:

On a side note... anyone heard the Edge do its "Theory of a Nickelback"? Hilarious!

I just phoned Q104 here in Halifax, and they said that they have to wait for the company to give the go-ahead to play the song. They said they have heard it is coming out soon though
