Finally......
I just saw the silver jet video on muchmoremusic. Then they followed it up with it's a good life....so maybe it will get more play now?

I saw the video the other on MMM. I wasn't too impressed. There are some great band shots, but not much of a "story". I really have no idea who the guy at the end is, and what he's got to do with bicycle-girl. For that matter I have no idea what the girl's story is all about, or why she sleeps so late into the evening! (Unless the Hip are doing some crazy breakfast concert) Oh well, at least the song rocks!

friends sorry to post the question under this heading, but can't find an appropriate 'category'. gord starred in a short film adaptation of al purdy's "At the Quinte Hotel" and it recently played at the Halifax film festival. Bravo Canada produced it, i think. Did anyone see it and whaddidya make of it?
more importantly, though, anyone know where i can get a copy?

got the feeling that they were operating on a shoestring budget. the potential was tremendous, and i liked what i saw but it was fairly low tech. why the hell isn't their record label backing them up more?

there was tons of potential for this video and in the end it turned out being a basic shot. Reminded me alot of Something On ... really stripped down. I have often heard Gordie and the others quoted as saying they do not care that much about videos.
