Bussiness in Australia definitly has it's perks. Today I'm strolling around Sydney sporting my hipbase shirt and rockin out to the Hip on my minidisc. Sunny day and great sites in a great city. Can't get any better than that.

The hipbase shirts are a great way to meet up with fellow Canadians abroad by the way. :thumb:

I'm off to Manly beach now where I'll hopefully be able to stand up on a surf board. :mrgreen:

Thats awesome though..I have always wanted to visit the down under...I guess I will just have to settle on going to the Outback Restaurant for now

ya everything spins the wrong way down here. it's been cool listening to the hip in reverse.

THe surf kicked the shit outta me this morning. I managed to catch a few waves then I opted to try the body board instead and had a lot more success with that. Great fun in the sun and surf today. Only one moer day here then it's off to New Zealand for a week before heading home. Never been there before so I'm super stoked for that.

As for the work that I do... We manufacture grain bins (or silos depending on where you're from) One of our best dealers is here in Australia and I've been saddled with the rough job of all of taking care of all of our international clients, hence the trip. We've got a small dealer in New Zealand as well and since I've come this far I might as well have a look. Other than that it's mostly Sask. for me, so the odd overseas trip is a real treat.

It's a long way to come for such a short time but I won't complain about it. Seems like such a tease though since my last trip here lasted for 8 or 9 months. If only I were young again.

I'm off to the pub, see you all at the hip shows in November. :thumb:
