Wow Gord was ranting like a mad man last night, almost every song had a GD original comment attached to it. This was the most I've seen him "talk" in a while. He was on fire. Fun times....

Man, I was debating between hitting this concert or Toronto. I couldn't afford both so I opted for Toronto. Hope that one is as good as the Rochester show!! Certainly sounded like it was killer. Hope they release it as part of their Live series.

Don't have much time to write right now but more later. Last night was insane. Gord broke his mic pack that goes on his waist (or whatever it would be called) and then he screamed " I danced the fuck out of it" It was awesome, he was ranting the most i've seen this tour. there were a couple points when he looked down at us in the pit and asked us "what the fuck was going on???" Setlist was usual, no big suprises but they def, rocked last night. At the end of the show Johnny came down and gave away his drumsticks. Shit now i'm late for class. later guys. Oh yeah met a hipbaser..... boots...good to see ya.

"We snap back like a rubber band"
Then Gords body snaps like he got electrocuted - Snap.
Then he repeats it again - snap goes his body.
He did this maybe three times.

I remember him saying that he sings Wheat Kings every night yet had to ask for the first lyric
'Maybe it can be nashville every night'
Before ABAC - This song is for the girls, well they all are, but this one especially is for the girls (or seomthing along those lines)
Wherewithal, Sticktoitveness, (something else) - All things better than courage.
There were at least two 'aquarium' comments that I remember - a pretty long rant before 'membership.'
Before Mean Streak he said that he saw something in each and everyo one of us, he hopes we don't mind, well its not in us, but actually above us, just above our heads, and it reminds him of her.
Before Josephine - 'This song is about an activist - it doesn't hurt that shes beautiful.'
Thats all that I remember, forgive me if any of them aren't accurate.

I remember at the beginning last night he made motions as though he was "peeking through the grass" and then he said something along the lines of "oh oh there you are i can see you know". There are so many more things about last night and the Gordisms. I hope to see a show like last night again tomorrow in Clifton Park!!

That was hilarious.
There was a fan in my section near the front (Right Center) taking some photos and Gord saw him and looked dead into his camera for awhile while the fan kept snapping pictures.

Last night was awesome. It was great to hear Wheat Kings and Membership again. Thanks to everyone who posted the Gordisms, I couldn't make them all out. That was my 5th show in a month, about 30th overall. I can't get enough!

Gord D was certainly into it at Rochester...but rather then rants it really was more like him talking to us. When I have seen him rant in the past he talks very low and close to the mike and most people don't catch what he's saying. These things were all very audible!!
I loved when the power pack came unplugged and he motioned as if to plug it into his...um...you know...behind...

That is exactly what it was Fran - almost like he liked being there with all of us, we were his friends for the night.
"So Dana, what's up tonight?"
He was just talking to the crowd all night.
