Oh, and trust me: it was GREAT laughing last in '92... and 93. My middle school dragged us all into the gym for Blue Jay Day assemblies each game day during those runs. Everybody was into it.
Whenever I hear the call of Carter's homerun, I still, literally, get chills.
"Well hit down the left field line... WAY BACK... AND, GONE!" Joe Carter with a three-run homerun! The Winners, and still World Series Champions the Toronto Blue Jays!"
Those were the days.
