Awesome show!!!
I purchased the show, downloaded it 10min later, converted it wav when I got home from work that night, burned it right away, AWESOME. No problems at all.

Is anyone else disappointed in paying for it? $12.95US? I agree the quality is fantastic but I have built my entire live collection with the support from The Hip fan base many of which are members in this forum. (kudos to Rory and Chris for sure for the boots and covers and the old hip.org) I have a lot of great quality boots that I have also spread around.

How many live shows will they sell on this tour? More importantly how many will everyone purchase? Me ...probably all of them because the quality is great, but it will get exspensive. I'm just hoping that that quality and quantity of the boot circuit will not dry up.

Id like to buy them all, but it depends how many they put out. Ill just go by what setlists I like. Hopefully the London show will make the list, Id love to get my hometown show! :jump

I don't mind paying $12.95 US for a pro recording... in order to justify it and make it possible to do this they obviously need to charge for it. I don't think $12.95 is outrageous... if you bought a live CD in the store (in this case it would need to be a double), it would be about $20 Canadian. So $12.95 US isn't bad... well worth it for this quality.

I'd imagine they'll probably relase 3-4 in total. Probably one from the American tour, one from the Canadian tour, and then maybe the New Years show? That would make sense. Hopefully they'll release shows with varying setlists, so we can get lots of different songs.

yeah, I bought some boots in a used music store here in London, and they were charging $20 bucks or more for each. Id rather pay the 12.95 and get a quality boot. :jump

I don't mind paying at all. Since there's very little at the record stores anymore that think is worth money, when something does appear that is good, I snap it up. My CD collection of late is almost entirely Jazz.

I bought this on blind faith and a bit of good word here. It is one of the best live albums I've ever heard. I'd have liked a chance to hear the quality before buying, but $12 isn't much of a risk.

If more come out I'll probably buy them. I have to fill in with the studio CDs first though.
