obviously collectively we have been to tons of shows and have tons of chances to talk to the band... put out those memorable quotes...
JF after the PP show at the Orbit Room... outside during the loadout....
I asked about the headphones and what how he has the the mix set up...
JF "mostly bass and drums....I got a little ringing in my ears....it isn't any different than working at DuPont...."
I have yet to have my chance and I'm sure I'll have quotes after the show because I've got questions to ask every one of them.
I know there are threads floating around about meeting the band, try using the search option.

Well, it wasn't so much meeting the band, but when I walked by Johnny's dressing room backstage one time, I could distinctly hear at least three female voices saying - and I quote - "Oh...oh....ooooh...ah! ah! ah! ah!" with one manly growl in the background. Never did figure out what all the fuss was about, someone must have been getting a tooth pulled.

Asked Gord Sinclair at the Bobcaygeon video shoot if it was still exciting, still "rock'n roll" to be shooting video's at this point, or if it was just another day at the office by now?
He paused and then sarcastically answered: (We'd all been standing around doing NOTHING for about 45 minutes) "Nah man, this is the life... I'm having fun. Aren't you having fun? What could be more fun than this? It's good, it's good... (nice pregnant pause) okay, it's the shits." (he followed it up with a good chuckle)

If you get Cool Edit or some software that allows you to re-mix channels, you can take the full left pan, copy it over to the right, and listen to the "completely different record" in stereo!

My first experience with any of the guys was about 8 years ago in AJ's Hangar. AJ's is a popular spot (especially during the school year) here in Kingston. As I was walking down the stairs to hit the dance floor....and if you were to ask anyone i know, the only reason i would hit the dance floor is if The Hip are playing....the place was completely rawking to Nautical....anyways, I was making my way down the stairs when i spotted JF chilling by himself. In passing, i asked him what it's like to hear your song in a bar, and watch everyone go crazy for it. He simply answered, "it's kinda like smelling your own farts".
I didn't know what to make of it, so i hit the dance floor.
