I'm not really in love with any other Canadian music. I like others but not enough to consider them favourites or anything. Tea Party, Hayden, Sexsmith, Matt Mays, Sam Roberts, Matt Good are decent.

Barenaked Ladies and some 80's acts like Glass Tiger, Platinum Blonde, Honeymoon Suite, Tom Chocoran and Red Ryder, and Gowan. I HATE SHANIA TWAIN! LOL! However, I love Terri Clark:-D I'm also an Anne Murray fan from way back, Gordon Lightfoot and Bryan Adams!

I did like Blue Rodeo back in the 80's and I like the older RUSH, but I never really had anything by them.

I can't of any other Canadian artists off the top of my head. However, after Clifton Park I might become a Sam Roberts fan.

Ooo... always a tough debate. Are Big Wreck Canadian?

3 of them are American, 1 (Ian Thornley) is Canadian.
They met at school in the US (Berkley School of Music).
They formed in Boston.
... and the biggest kicker is there’s legislation in Canada taht says that a certain percentage of music played on the radio in Canada must be Canadian content and Big Wreck is considered Canadian content. So I guess that means legally (at least according to Canadian law) that Big Wreck is Canadian. Tough call though.

Good question, although it's tough to answer with a short list and not leave some good ones out. Based on how how long I've been a fan, many CDs I have, and how many shows I've seen, I'd have to go with:

Sarah Mclachlan...Steaming / Drawn to the Rhythm / Fear / Fumbling (toss-up)
BNL...Call and Answer / Break Your Heart / What a Good Boy(another toss-up)

Although I only saw them once, I have to include Moev, which was my first "alternative" concert; the thickness of their live sound blew my mind!
