In the absence of any hockey to be concerned with, I've suddenly become a whole lot more interested in the MLB playoffs...
Boston over Anaheim in 4
Twins over Yankees in 5 (not likely, but it's Anybody But The Yankees for me)
Atlanta over Houston in 5
St Louis over LA in 3 or 4

This year's playoffs are going to be interesting for sure;
Boston over Anaheim in 4
Yankees over Twins in 5
Houston over Atlanta in 5
St Louis over LA in 3.
ALCS- Red Sox over Yankees in 6
NLCS- St Louis over Houston in 5
World Series- Boston over St Louis in 7.
This is the year for the Red Sox :thumb: :jump :jump

I like how VH has it, I would change it to Atlanta over Houston though. And I'm not so sure about the Sox running away with it all, though that's what I'm hoping for.
If not them, I'd say the Cards.

That's certainly going a step farther than I have...after last year's wildly unpredictable debacle for the Cubs and Sox, I don't dare predict ahead of the Divisional Series yet.
Boston-Anaheim is hard to call because I like both teams equally, and NY-Minn is hard to call because don't like either. I don't have "a team" but my cousin got me cheering for St Louis, my friend got me cheering for the Cubbies, and I decided I liked a couple more teams on my own. Minnesota and New York are the only teams I would definitely not want to see in the World Series.

Sox over Ana in 5, Twins over Yanks in 5, Astros over Cubs in 4, Cards over LA in 4
Sox over Twins in 6
Houston over cards in 7....
ya, Clemens Vs. Sox in world series, it's all happening baby...
Sox in 6 over Astros...
I'd feel a lot more confident in this prediction if the Red Sox were any team but the Red Sox... they have the best starters, so in theory and logic they should win... but logic generally doesnt work with Boston...
but those are my predictions, and ill stick to 'em.

Way to go Twins...keep them Yankees down!
I misspoke...mistyped...whatever...in my earlier post. I didn't mean to say the Yankees and Twins were the two teams I didn't want to see in the World Series - I meant to say the Yankees and Astros, because both teams are cobbled together from established stars, and both seem to have ego problems up the wazoo.
