Whats the story on the quality of tickets being released for the pre-sales? Is it like pearl jam where they give the best possible seats to fan club or some other ticketmaster ones where its just a random section and not neccessarily the best seats?

I got second row, seats 1 and 2 for the ACC show on November 26. I think the presale offers the best seats. But I don't like the fact that there is now pretty much a presale for radio station members (in S.Ontario, there is Q107, 102.1, 107.9), which grabs up the remaining seats after the Hip presale. By the time the publc tickets go on sale, your into the nosebleeds....

if you don't buy them immediately (read 1st min or 2 after it opens) then you could get screwed. I wanted 1st row balcony for syracuse. I got 5th row :30 after the presale started. I could have gotten closer if I waited for the general sale (3rd row).

There were lots of crappy tix in the pre-sale, and lots of people got nervous and took them. I think it's a stupid system. They should at least not offer 300s tickets.

I got front row floor, dead centre for the presale for the Sydney show this morning. I guess it's different venue to venue.

I've bought presales for four shows in total between 2002 and 2004. So far I've had sixth row, fourth row twice, and front row.

I got 3rd row Baker side for EDM through the presale (I was a couple of minutes late because Ticketmaster didn't switch the "more info" link to "find tickets" when the tickets actually went on sale.) The Bear radio station then had their presale the next day and when I tried to get more seats during the public sale the best available right out of the gate was 22nd row, and it got worse in a hurry.

i got 8th row floor for saint john. and that was 45 minutes after they went on sale
