ok, this is going to sound weird, right in the middle of the hip tour, but:

edge 102 : the ongoing history is airing 3 u2 shows in 3 weeks, and i was wondering how you guys take radio broadcasts, and transfer them to internet files. i really want to burn these 3 episodes. please, no matter what you may think of u2, or my taste in music, could someone please help on this one?

nois,
If you can afford to spend $20, the simplest thing to do is use Microsoft PLUS! Digital Media Edition. You can buy it almost anywhere (Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, Wal-Mart, etc.) and it includes an analog recorder. I bought it to transfer cassette tapes of my old radio shows and use it extensively to record XM Satellite Radio programs. It will record a variety of audio sources and anything connected to your "line in" input. The only downside is that it saves files in WMA format, so you'll need to use another program to convert the filesto mp3, wav, or whatever you prefer.
