Tryin for General Public Tickets
#1

That's right... for the upcoming shows, I'm taking a risk on the general public tickets. I was in a meeting from 11:30 till 1 and didn't get a chance for the 12:00:01 sale. So, I won't be given special Hip Club privileges... I'll just be another Joe Fan that wants to check out this cool new thing they call "the Hips"... or "Hip"... or something.

Does anyone know how the tickets are working this time around? Are all tickets open for the presale or only a certain group? I'm hoping it's the latter (especially since that's how it's worked in the past) and that if I'm at my computer at 10:00:01 on Friday, I can still snag some decent tickets for the show in London.

I know it's a risk... gotta live life on the edge. Any advice (or sympathy) would be great as usual.

I'd Snag a pair right now, just incase they arent the way your planning on them selling, but i wish you the best fellow hipster.

I got a 2 pairs from the pre-sale and gonna be on ticketmaster like a hawk for the public sale,
I am looking for those elusive, dead center tickets.

I heard a couple people did get a few though.

I'm looking for tickets in the gen. public sale too... like you, I missed the pre-sale.... I got the e-mail, i was just still recovering (at work) from the Detroit & Cleveland shows, and didn't get a chance....

I'm a little concerned - I've seen a lot of people posting on how good their tickets were.... but I'm sure I'll end up w/ halfway decent ticks. They may not be first row, but as long as they're not at the back of the arena....

That's the part I'm worried about. In the past, people have complained that they got poor tickets during the presale. Although this was unfortunate, it proved that the Hip were saving some of the better seats for the general public sale as well. Now all I'm hearing is good things about the tickets people have got... I hope that's just because these are large venues and there are still some gems for me to pick!

if you get on right away, you should have no problem getting good seats
