But I guess those of us (including me!) who criticized the early setlists for this tour as being unvaried were mistaken. Over the first three shows of the American tour there's been 40 different songs played including the return of some not played in quite a while (Looking, Twist, Vapour, Scared, Something), and an unreleased song.

Here's hoping for Emperor Penguin to show up sometime soon!

There is definitely more variation from night to night this time around than others. Usually the cities with a single show get a somewhat generic setlist, while the second/third shows have the rarer songs.

For the first few 'single-city' shows of this US tour, the setlists vary greatly, which is very nice to see.

If I had a giant stuffed Penguin I would bring it everywhere, it would always be by my side.....I mean like how awesome would it be, you would always have a talking point when you are bored.

I still can't help but think that the boys were looking on when we were asking for some varying setlists. Maybe we are more important to the band than we realize! Either way, it is great to see the introduction of some classics!

Personally, I am putting my vote in for the return of Eldorado but I STILL think The Heart of the Melt with a little jam right into The Wherewithal would just smoke live!

I'm hoping for Scared its been one of my favorites and I've never got to hear it in the concerts i've been to. A couple others would be Emergency, 38 years old, or the bastard.
