Now, I know how most of you people feel about Creed, but the new band is really good..has anyone else picked up the cd?

When I heard their first single, I thought it was Creed. With that in mind, I will not be buying their CD.

You really can't judge the cd by the single.

Sounds just like Creed to me too. Not buying. I've heard about 100 voices that are very similar to that Mayfield Four singer's voice. I find the music and voice just too generic. But to each his own.

Music is music, man. If a band is not particularly "original" maybe or not all "about the art", it doesn't mean I won't give them a chance. I'll check them out for the sole purpose of it being a new band out there and more music to eat.

Can't remember the song but I did see a video by them the other day and, on a lighter note.... that dude looked like Kroeger! I said that to my sister and then the next video that played after it!? Nickelback...

I'll definitely be checking out the band though....
I still like Nickelback, regardless of what has been said on the Hipbase about them...

Sorry theHip21, I didn't know everyone had to like Alter Bridge. I didn't say I wasn't interested in them to "fit in" or "act cool" or anything. I just don't particularly like that type of music. But like I said, to each his own.

Wait a minute... I guess maybe I just finally drank enough coffee to be considered "awake"? But this band Alter Bridge, is it Creed but without Stapp? I'm gonna look them up...

I actually thought Creed was pretty cool when they first came out, I was never diehard though... Some pretty good songs they had hit my headphones more than once...

Some may not agree with me, but hey, I'm an audiophile... :music

Alter bridge is good, download a few songs atleast..I can reccomend atleast 2 great ones.

Call me unoriginal, but I thought every Creed song sounded the same. Basically the same drum beat with slightly different chords. Alter Bridge is just the same thing with a different voice.

Fair enough. Have you heard the entire cd, or are you..as many others..judging from the single? It's the same band, yes, they are going to play the same music (ex. audioslave). It happens..

Don't need to buy the cd. I heard enough Creed. I'm not saying people aren't allowed to like Alter Bridge, you can like any music you want. I just don't, that's all.
