To any users of Rogers High Speed Internet,

Prior to Rogers and Yahoo! joining forces, I was free of spam. Now, although Yahoo! has a fancy spam blocker, I get at least 10 spam messages per day.

If you haven't registered your Rogers account with Yahoo! via <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.hispeed.rogers.com">http://www.hispeed.rogers.com</a><!-- m --> DON'T. I only registered 2 of my 3 accounts with that site, and strangely enough, those are the only ones that are getting spammed.

I think that Yahoo! has a hole in their security, or there is some fine print that I didn't read that says they can distribute our addresses.

Has anyone else had issues?

Furthermore, in January 2005, all of the personal websites - accessible through "http://members.rogers.com/username" - will stop working, and you have to migrate to Geocities, and get a new address: "http://ca.geocities.com/username@rogers.com"
