There was a huge hole without a Burlington Date! I was hoping for it! Now I don't have to go to Syracuse. Ktown is gonna kill me

This is SO much closer and we can stop at Ri-Ra before the show! Smile

Wish I could but I can't afford it. Burlington is a better choice it's only an hour and a half while Syracuse is 3 and a half hours. Besides, Ktown would have to come all the way down here. B'ton is north of me. So it's better for her.

Besides, I know Burlington really well, been going there most of my life. I was just the a few weeks ago and I've seen shows at Memorial.

I got 4 Boston tickets in the mail yesterday and I'll deffinitely go to Burlingotn as well. The memorial aud is a tiny little place and I suggest anyone within a days drive go check the show out. It's located half way up college street (UVM) and over looks Lake Champlain. I've seen them there twice...once when I was young and I bullied my way to the rail and the last time I watched from the balcony, it's like you were on top of the band. I'd love to video tape it, I'll have to check about their restrictions.

Last time I was there was First Night in 2002, I think, it was "The Logger" show. I saw an actual concert there in the 90's and if I remember correctly, I was sitting in the balcony, the acoustics were bad up there, I'm gonna shoot for the floor this time. Compared to other places, it is quite intimate and will most likely be GA. I am SO looking forward to this!

and Rory actually has a pic, that was once on the official site, of a Hip soundcheck from 1999. Just scroll to the bottom of the page!

Too bad they aren't doing the shows in the same states closer together...don't think we'll manage the drive from Maine to Michigan and Ohio twice...might have to head to Burlington though!!
