Just got my GA tickets for both the san diego and hollywood shows, can't wait to go. Havent seen the guys in a loooong time. My question is has anyone ever been to any of these clubs? Is the GA tickets the best you can get? Thanks.

4th & B is a great club...in a great part of San Diego...right in Gaslamp (just a couple blocks away). You can't have a bad view at 4th & B. I haven't been to the other venue in Hollywood, however.

I've been to the Avalon back when it was called The Palace. I saw Widespread Panic and Medeski Martin and Wood there back in '97 & '98. Its a cool venue that has a lot of history, I remeber a nice bar upstairs. Its right on Hollywood & Vine which is one of the most historic intersections back in the early days of Hollywood. The venue has a lot of history to it, lots of old TV Shows were filmed there.
Its a GA show, like the two I saw, and I was about 3 people back from the stage with little to no effort, arriving right before they came on.
