after a lot of thought of this, and debating between a few...have finally decided it's pearl jam's Do The Evolution..it's thought provoking, it's sad, it's funny, it's cool to look at, the song kicks ass, and it's 4 minutes of pure bliss....

I agree that Do The Evolution is a terrific song and it's a great video. How about Johnny Cash and the video for "Hurt" though? It is amazing.

Just watched the video for DTE again, and yes, besides being in my opinion, Pearl Jam's best song, it is by far the best video out there. How about Brain of J, the opening song from that album? Along the same lines lyrically, truly a great song...

Vaccination Scar is one of the best music videos Ive seen in a very long time, if not the best.
But Im yet to see it on the tube!! :x
Another really good one: not a big fan of the band, but the video for One by Metallica....SUCH a good video...the whole concept.

johnny got his gun written by dalton trumbo(?) guy's name is something like that..best anti-war book ever written in my opinion...not a happy read by any means, but it's something everybody should take a look at...by the video clips shown in the metallica video, you may have a good idea what it's about...a man loses his limbs, sight, speech, hearing in the war, and the book takes place inside his head as he comes to terms with this..very powerful
