Former Daily Show host Craig Kilborn has quit the Late Late show which is under David Letterman's "Worldwide Pants" umbrella... who should Dave pick as a replacement to follow him at 12:35?
Jon Stewart would be great, but he just re-inked with Comedy Central.
Conan's looking fo something at 11:30, and is for the time being tied to NBC.
Jimmy Kimmel? A big Letterman fan whose been having serious public disagreements with Disney might work... if he can get out of his deal...
How about Chris Rock or Mitch Hepberg?
Dave loves ultra-quirky Comedian Amy Sedaris, and adding a woman to the mix would be intersting...
Rumour's of Vince Vaughn (Who did a great job guest hosting while Dave was sick) might be a lil much.
Who would you like to see follow the King?

Vince Vaughn would be awesome! But with his star on the rise (as always) in Hollywood, I doubt it.

Maybe Dave should host both, then he can do raunchier jokes once the kids have gone to bed.

Vaughn, the Wilson brothers, Will Ferrell, and Stiller all are about as big as they are going to get. Their movies are funny but they are all pretty limited.
Kilborn was funny on the Late Late Show. I think Jon Stewart is perfect for his gig on the Daily Show. I think Kimmel is hilarious and could be a good replacement.
I've GOT IT! Don't laugh, but Norm Macdonald. I know he is fidgety and nervous when on talk shows but that would be the beauty of it. He is one funny dude and I'd watch. Other than him, maybe Howard Stern.

Mike Bullard....
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Conan is good but quite repetitive. He is funny but he's not knock me over laughing so hard hilarious any more.
That would be the beauty of the show while it lasted- Norm's expressions while interviewing guests. He has such a dry sense of humour that I think it'd be gold while the show lasted. Of course, after a month or so the network would pull the plug on Norm because of the awkwardness of his interviews and possible confrontations.
Another guy I think is great is Johnny Mac. He has his own show on CNBC or something now. Now there's a character.
Other than him, I'd love to see Larry David as a late night host. He has got to have one of the funniest minds in comedy. Pure genius and he'd do or say anything for a laugh. His innane observations are just pure genius.

Doesn't really matter, because if you watch Leno or Conan they all do what Dave is doing anyway.
I saw Leno the other night, and he has something equivalent to Stupid Human Tricks now that he does in the audience.
Everyone knows that Leno has always aspired to be Dave and that he could never fit the Bill.
NBC/CBS battle or not, ratings or not, Leno straight out plagiarizes Dave constantly; you'd think there would be a lawsuit or something. Especially with the SHT thing and all.
Why did Kilbourn quit anyway?
