I am watching the Kumbaya - 1993-09-05 VCD. And I noticed that Gord is wearing the same shirt that he wore for that Muchmusic Sept 11th special. Anyone else notice that.
Also, anyone know where I could get that shirt, I like it.
I need 2 Kingston Tickets, please help.

I have no idea where to buy it, but he does also wear it alot in the Heksenketal video. Gord also wears it on his solo appearance at MuchMusic last year after 9/11.

He also wore it on Oct. 21/01 at ACC for Music Without Borders show. He must love that shirt because he was really interested in whales in the early hip years.

Gord has had this shirt for about 8 years now, he wears it under his regular clothing most tour nights. I don't know how it hasn't torn to shreds after all these years of wear and tear and washings!!
I know he said he had the shirt made - not sure if he got it as a gift or got it for himself. It is a pun on the 'killerwhaletank' monologue. Instead of saving the whales (if you're a green peace kinda person), it's save the humans - and you'll get the irony if you know 'killerwhaletank' well enough.
You could probably have a similar shirt made, but I've never seen them in stores before.

i have this shirt as well . i got it from my brother as a b-day present...he got it from some wildlife conservation website. its definetly not a Gord original. Its pretty cool ...if i can find the link for the shirt ill post it

I noticed that too in the MWB special. After seeing that shirt on Heksenketel I was also fairly interested. What about the shirt he was wearing over it though. On the back it kind of looked like a demolished Lincoln Memorial. The links above have similar shirts, but I think the one Gord wears has the whale with a speaking bubble, and the picture is a little different.

yea its a lil different...it does have the speaking bubble that says save the humans....the shirt is white with a teal green whale.

Yeah, Gord's is different because he said that he had it either made for him or he had it done. I can't remember which one, because that conversation I had with him was eons ago, like 6 years ago. But I *think* it was someone who had it done for him as a gift. That shirt on the website link here is a bit different, but along the same lines.
