Lance,

I believe that it is the poster from this tour, kind of a rip if you ask me, it's not even printed on card/poster stock paper, it's really flimsy and at $15 it wasn't worth getting, which is upsetting cause i liked the one from that i got from the M@W tour for the TO and Hamilton shows. anyways hope this helps.

Hey Lance
That isn't a poster from this tour. That is their NEW official Theatre tour book that they are selling at the shows. I bought one and it is AWESOME! I've been waiting for them to do something like this and the pictures are fantastic. Each band member has a 2 page spread with photos. The inside front cover lists all of the tour dates from Feb 20 to Nov 24. There are a few pages of band photos, and the inside back cover has pics of the crew as well as thanks from the band and that sort of thing. It it a beautiful book and well worth the $18. You can pick it up from The Hip's merchandise store or at any show on this tour from the souvenir stand. (Victoria didn't have them, but Vancouver & Vernon did).
Hope that clears it all up for you,
Tony

So how many pages is it ? This sounds like the ultimate item to have each guy "sign" their own section. Weird they are just selling them now towards the end of the Tour. Maybe production was late?

Have the HIP ever done a concert book before?

I apologise for giving the misleading information. I only browsed the merch table due to the fact that the move out here and the tix pretty much used up all my extra funds. I still think the poster was overpriced but for $3 more you can get a whole tour book, that sounds like a deal to me!

It is 20 pages and it is IDEAL for the boys to sign, many people in Vancouver and Vernon got the boys to sign the tour book. It is an official Theatre tour book, so they actually started selling it at the start of the Theatre tour, not the end. Production was recent though, in the beginning, there are pics of him from the Seattle soundcheck wearing shades strumming his guitar on his own. AND a full page picture of him doing something similar to this John Travolta pose everyone is talking about (standing sideways on the speakers, one arm in the air, looking back at the crowd). I don't believe they've ever done a book like this before but it's WAY overdue. Jake was prodding me over and over to buy it, so I finally did. I think they wanted to see how it would sell. All I can say is BUY IT, you won't regret it. It's a wonderful keepsake of the boys, even if they don't sign it for you.

I might buy one just to see if I can get it signed too. I have the Music @ Work poster set from the Canadian leg of the tour.
