Anyone else seen this? I was doing some record shopping today and I found a used copy for $15. It's amazing! Easily one of the best DVD concerts I've ever seen. It was filmed over two nights at Slane Castle in Ireland during the summer of 2001, and the band is in fine form playing their asses off in front of their hometown fans. In the liner notes it mentions that Bono's father had died of cancer just three days before these shows took place, and you can really see/feel the emotion from him as he passionately belts out tunes like "One", "Beautiful Day", and "Kite".
Some of the crowd shots are great too, where you see thousands of people singing along to every word and draping themselves in the Irish flag. It kinda reminds me of an outdoor Hip show. Anyway, it's a very cool DVD. If you're a U2 fan, I highly recommend it.

i got it for christmas last year
but you need to see the show they filmed in boston two disks lots of extras
singing beautiful day on a roof top the dvd says toronto but it is not with euro license plates visable on buses

Now that is one of thee best live dvd's i have ever bought.
The set list is awesome and the scenery is amazing...seeing Bono and Edge out on the stage with the castle in the background is freakin great.
I think it is U2's best live DVD...that is until they get around to releasing Zoo Tv Live from Sydney.
If any of you like U2 and don't have this DVD race out and get it.

Saw U2 live in Montreal for Elevation Tour. Simply the best concert I have ever been to. The Elevation Boston DVD is phenomenal. I have Slane Castle DVD too, but I like the Boston DVD Better.

I have benn to 4 U2 shows. the best for me was in October of 2001 when they played at Notre Dame. It was their first show after 9/11 to a crowd of 12000 (which I read was the smallest show they played in 15 years). During "Walk On" The Band brought out members of the NYC Fire Department and Police Department. Its a concert I will never forget.
U2 is kicking off their next world tour in March of next year. So something to look forward to. A Hip tour in the fall/winter followed by a U2 tour.
