In Between Evolution

MSI>
There is only one true independence and that is enlightenment. There is only one true freedom... People die fighting for relative freedom. It’s very silly because there is only one freedom. There is only one independence. There is only one -- and that comes from the inside out. You can have it on the inside, and it matters not what is going on with the outside, in the environment or even in your body. It makes no difference. Those that worship bodies might think it’s important but it is not.

How could there be? You get free from one boundary and you impose another one. You throw off one government and then immediately build another one over your head. It’s ever been so… particularly when the one you build today is worse than the one you had yesterday. Freedom is real. It’s not to be had by anything on the outside. There is no external impulse of life that can give freedom. There is nothing, nothing on the outside that can give freedom.

Freedom comes from the inside. If you have that, you have everything. If you don’t have that, you have nothing. All the wealth of the world won’t give you freedom. It might make your movement through the boundaries easier, but that is not the same as freedom.

Freedom lies exclusively in the dominion of consciousness. Consciousness knows no boundaries in its pure state. The boundaries of life are on the outside. They are, without exception, illusions. There is no reality in them. There is no reality to them. The boundaries of life are fantasies, are dreams with no truth.

Enlightenment is awareness of the Ascendant -- permanent awareness of the One. It has nothing to do with flashy little things on the outside. You could say that George is fully enlightened because he could pull good cards out of the air and George would attract quite a following if he could do that regularly and consistently but he might be more ignorant than your dog.

Freedom is something internal, not external.

Dear Friends,
Thanks for replying.... and thanks for 'playing' last time.
We are all richer- and true hip fans-.

I see alot of stuff going on with us here. The postings have alot to do with 'identity'. And with with "the heart of the melt' being cognized by us...I thought it best to illuminate it further. Of all the 50+ looks, you guys responded. K-lass and Brazel and Canuck too. Thanks.
Identity it is.........

Here is an article that starts this enquiry.

It's your choice....

Good Dream, Bad Dream, It’s Still a Dream
Why Don't You Awaken from the Dream?

by Bhujagendra and Vidya Ishaya

Once upon a time, a long time ago, there lived a man called Zaradustra. Now in his time, Zaradustra said a lot about life, God and the world, but you could sum up the gist of his teaching like so:

"Two paths can be followed in this world: the path of the True, or the path of the lie."

But what is the Truth, and what is the lie? How can anyone know, for sure, what the Truth is?

Everywhere you turn your ear, you find more people selling their beliefs about how things are. Economists absorb themselves in an economic world, businessmen in a world of business. To a politician, politics is all there is.

For some this world is a cover up for all the secret, terrible things that the government doesn’t want you to know about. For some, we live in a world created some five thousand years ago by our heavenly father and it’s only a matter of time before our Lord returns to destroy the sinful and draw the faithful unto Him.

Or maybe we live as forgetful members of a Universal Brotherhood of Light, filled with glorious beings in motherships, who are benevolently guiding us into a fantastic New Age.

The scenarios are endless. The numbers of worlds we can choose to make real are infinite. Our capacity to dream is unfathomable.

Yet, all the scenarios do have one thing in common: they're all world views, projections of mind and imagination, ideas that exists outside of ourselves. It’s all something we choose to believe in. After all, we have to believe in something, don’t we?

Oddly enough, most of us choose to believe in a worldview that is ultimately flawed. SOMETHING out there is wrong, SOMETHING has to change. If we can just win democracy for all, if we can just boost the economy, if we could just convert the world to worship Christ or Krishna or Gord, or channel Ascended Masters, THEN things would change, THEN we’d have a world we could live in...

Can you see, even for a moment, how you can follow any thought, any idea, until it becomes your reality? That you can make anything, absolutely anything real? This world of possibilities is so like a maze with paths extending in infinite directions, yet it’s pathways are superficial at best. What of the depth? If you can create any belief as your personal reality, where, if anywhere, is there one single solitary shred of Truth in this world that we all partake in?

Imagine for a moment that your entire world is just a mind-created dream. What, then, of the reality of the dreamer?

Underlying all the world, all your experiences, all your thoughts, emotions and beliefs, there is a field. It underlies all the scaffolding of false identity that surrounds you, all that you think you are. There is an infinite depth within you -- out of which all things you contact have arisen and to which all things soon return, a fullness in the midst of an empty world, a silence in the midst of chaos, a stillness within the world of action.

Growth of consciousness is the process of going within, contacting that field, knowing it (experientially!) and bringing that experience out into the world. By looking into multiplicity, we have created a world of chaos, but by knowing The One within and living from that direct, personal experience, we allow ourselves and the world to return to the natural state: a state of spontaneous perfection.

So the game is really not about what we DO or what we BELIEVE but rather it’s about what we truly ARE. For we honestly cannot create a New World for ourselves by doing anything.

In fact, the game is not about creating a new better world, a more spiritual world, a more ANYTHING world at all. For if you seek a new age outside of yourself, you are still dreaming. It’s that simple. Good dream, bad dream, it’s still a dream. It’s still fiction. The age of truth comes only when we awaken, fully conscious, within the dream and transform it through the power of our awakening.

Truth is something you are; it is the reality of the dreamer. Truth is known when one turns within, in all circumstances. Truth is lived when one learns to act effortlessly, from the heart of each experience.

Then quite spontaneously and naturally, the entire world is nurtured and healed. It’s tremendously simple. In this world of infinite possibilities, there is only one thing to do: find and use tools to turn within and so know yourself.

Then you need no longer pay any heed to the voices which seek so valiantly to justify what they believe. You need not pay heed even to similar thoughts which arise in your own busy mind. For you have ascended beyond form and concept into the beautiful simplicity of direct personal experience.

Interesting.....thanx for sharing!

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Hi Summiteer.... It's been awhile. Hope you enjoy the CD as much as me.

"I will not give up."

Your quote is pretty concrete. Hmmm...wonder who the "I" is though?
Cup may be too full, eh? Have room for no more....and no where to go.

Take care

I should like to comment on this, Josh. Although at this point in time, I am not sure as to whether I agree with it or not. So, as I go through it, maybe I'll end up agreeing.

Strangely, I have heard a similar name to this one; "Zarathustra."
Thus Spake Zarathustra But, as to which one came first, I know not.
But this is minor. This doesn't matter.

Kevala Wrote:"Two paths can be followed in this world: the path of the True, or the path of the lie."
But what is the Truth, and what is the lie? How can anyone know, for sure, what the Truth is?

With this, I should like to quote Keats;

Keats Wrote:When old age shall this generation waste,
Thou shalt remain, in midst of other woe
Than ours, a friend to man, to whom thou say'st,
"Beauty is truth, truth beauty,--that is all
Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know."

Kevala Wrote:Imagine for a moment that your entire world is just a mind-created dream. What, then, of the reality of the dreamer?

I have often told friends of mine and others that there are only two views on this world and everything else falls in place. Either you are the "Science" or you are the "Religion." Those are the two paths (as mentioned above) of life. If I was to say Science was the truth, the true path, then I would say Religion is make-believe, it is a lie. It was created so many years ago to help curious people sleep at night. But if I was to say Religion is the true path, I would say Science is a lie. It a matter of perspective. Strangely, not everyone has a choice in these matters.

Yes, but it will not solve all problems such as those who do not. What of those who oppose the return of such a natural state? Mankind takes a great pleasure in the power of manipulating any possible thing it comes across. We have controlled the plants. We have destroyed mountains. We have created rivers. We are now extending our power throughout the Universe. What we will find we will try to control. We still dream of controlling time and shrinking space. Is it possible? Is everything in existence for the sole pupose of our entertainment? Of our existence? Does everything exist for the existence of everything else?

"We are the Dreamers. We are not the Believers.
We dream we believe but don't believe we dream."

Maybe this is the definition of the human race.
An objectivity so great that it is we ourselves fall to its knees.

"I won't judge you if you believe but if I don't, would you judge me?"
Let that echo for a couple years.

I must say Josh, it is very pleasant to have something new and different on this site. Not that I don't love The Hip and it is the point of the site but I have always loved the moment when two (or more) minds and their ideas meet. Although this site has had some stupid bullshit recently...

I wonder though; what are your beliefs? Voicing them are indeed futile. No one wants to change their own and some may even try to change yours. The Art Of Inner Exploration is an interesting subject. I myself discovered that the demons of Solomon are actually within oneself and not real entities. Some may think them to be real. I am mostly Pagan, not neopagan with hints of Egyptian mysticism, but straight-out-of-Gaul Pagan. I believe in the Goddess instead of the God.

Bye...
I leave you with one last article from MSI... for all of us......

Relationship-MSI

One of the fundamental focuses of Earth-life for practically everyone is relationship. How many books, movies, TV shows are written every year with romantic relationship as the most important element? How much time is spent by an average adult thinking about and working on relationships? And yet with all the attention from so many millions, very few attain anything close to an Ideal Relationship. I think this may be one of the most frustrating, if not the most frustrating facts of Earth-life: with all the attention and desire focused on relationship, very, very few attain Ideal relationships, relationships that serve to expand the love and joy and healing of the partners and everyone else touched by the union. Why is this? Primarily because the focus is off: the only way to structure perfection on the outside is to know perfection on the inside.

This simple assertion may seem to fly in the face of common sense. If you want anything on the outside, how could you possibly find it without looking outside? Skill in action comes when you learn the inside controls the outside. Whatever it might be that you are seeking, prepare first your mind and heart to receive it, and it will come to you. Ignore this simple precept, and all the attention in the world focused outward will never produce the desired result.

Relationships in the waking state are primarily based on lack, on need, on limitation. One is attracted to another because of some sort of hole in oneself. The outer person more or less fills the hole; this leads to a temporary respite from experiencing the pain of the Emptiness inside. But such a solution is temporary at best; the flowing change of the Universe rips partners away from us, or reveals to us their limitations in glaring terms that cannot be ignored. This can be an extraordinarily painful process: if a large enough portion of your spirit is invested in the other, than the removal of the other can be a living hell.

When two come together from wholeness, on the other hand, when neither is empty inside, when neither is attempting to fill a subconscious or conscious lack, then the potential dawns to meet and become involved with a true Complement. What is a "true Complement?" A partner that is not coming to you out of lack or limitation or pain or suffering but out of fullness and expansion and completion and joy. The initial stage of such an Ideal Relationship may appear similar to a relationship based in lack, but wait but the shortest of moments, the Ideal Relationship expands love and joy of each of the partners and everyone else in Creation. Such a Relationship heals not only the principals but all people contacted by the couple. Because the Relationship is not coming out of lack but solely out of expanding love and joy, everyone touched by such a union is pushed ahead in the direction of Healing. Such a Relationship, then, serves the purpose and intent of the Holy Spirit to Heal all of humanity.

Many of us in our deepest hearts have sought such a Relationship for years. Perhaps we accepted a compromise or two along the way, perhaps we spent years in a relationship that was anything but Ideal, perhaps we despaired of ever finding our Complement and gave up the search long ago. Perhaps we believed perfection impossible to achieve and contented ourselves with success in other areas.

For all who have given up, take heart! There is a new movement today occurring on the Earth. The return to our world of the full feminine counterpart of Isha, Ishani, is making possible today for everyone what was before restricted to a fortunate few. The collective consciousness of the human race is being daily more and more permeated with the quality of unconditional love that is Ishani; the transformation of all relationships in the light of the perfection of that love is certain.

The growth of consciousness of the human race mirrors that of the individual. That which appeared as a fanciful or far-off dream is today manifesting clearly on the Earth. Enlightenment was before considered difficult or impossible to attain; today the very real goal of full human consciousness is being attained by ever-expanding numbers of Teachers and students of Ascension.

Three of the counterparts of full human consciousness are relevant to the concept of Ideal Relationships. First, when one has structured complete and perfect awareness of the Ascendant One always, one’s sense of self-worth is no longer deficient. "Toady" self-worth becomes impossible; since this is so, one of the primary stumbling blocks to perfect Relationships is irrevocably gone. No longer does one seek a partner to fulfill a lack or out of need; one seeks a perfect Complement to continue to expand in love and joy and understanding.

Second, when one has stabilized awareness of the Infinite everywhere, always, one naturally finds that there is no longer any need nor even desire to control the environment. Control or the attempt to control cripples more relationships than any other single fact. In enlightenment, that is gone forever.

Third, when the perfection of Infinite Awareness is lived continually, one no longer judges nor even attempts to judge the environment nor anything in it. Without the ongoing battle of judgment, life is freed to simply be. With the freedom of life to reside in simplicity and grace, all the outer Universe aligns by improving the quality of all relationships. Without judgment, there is no projection. Without projection, one simply experiences what is being freely offered to one. Then begins life in innocence and joy. Then the perfection of the Ideal Relationship becomes as certain as the dawning of full enlightenment.

It is a wonderful, glorious, expanding moment in the long history of the human race. Fortunate are those who are alive today to experience the full descent of Ishani. More fortunate are those awake enough to recognize this growth of unconditional love. Most fortunate are those who have dedicated everything of their lives in one-pointed faith and commitment to the Healing of the Earth and the will of God. Their future is indescribable in wonder and glory.

Josh, thank you for simultaneously feeding my deep seeded fears and giving me something to think about...to try to write about...to try to figure out. I'll post more when my brain starts to function again.
