I was just sitting here at work and remembered that good ol Phantom Power came out 6 years ago today!!!

Can you believe that since Phantom Power, we've got 3 new hip albums and 2 Gord Downie solo albums!! I think that IBE has matched up the best to Phantom Power since it's release. Not to diss IVL or M@W, but IBE is just outstanding!!

Wow, I didn't realise it was that long ago...and that today was the anniversary.

All I recall is that it was one HELL of a summer with all the lives shows I attended for that tour. Awesome summer!

I want another one of those summers...if they'd only announce the tour already!

The Phantom Power release was my favourite! I remember waiting in line at the old Music Baron in Saskatoon at Midnight. Good times! You are right that we are lucky fans to have so many albums (both Hip and Gord) in six years and just as many shows too! Happy anniversary PP!

I remember watching the London concert on MM the night before and getting the album first thing the next day.
