I have no idea who it's about, but I don't think it's his grandmother. When I hear the line about the girl on her cellphone surrounded by her friends, I'm thinking it's probably a teenager....or not. What the hell do I know.

My only compaint with Joe is the fade out at the end. I wish Kasper would have just let them play it out.

I typed her name in Google and I found this..

Our Lady Peace - Innocent (Columbia/Sony)
Director: Tryan George
Producer: Rachel Kohm
Production Company: DNA Inc./Revolver Film Company

That could be her - a lady the hip knew from the music business.

I found this on the Matt Good website:

" On Sunday night the producer of the video for "Weapon", Rachel Kohm, passed away in her sleep due to complications from type 1 diabetes. She was 28 years old."

I agree. That's my only complaint on the entire album, and it's a minor one at that, but I definitely think Kasper fades out a little too quickly at the end. During their show at the Whiskey in Calgary, they jammed out the end of that song for what seemed like a good minute or two. It was magical. Can't wait to hear it live again!

I actually like the fade out. Especially with the horns that you can just barely hear, I think it adds a nice touch.

The more I listen to this song, the more I'm hearing "Impossibilium". That's definetly not a bad thing. Then again, this has been my favourite of the new songs since Edgefest.

Maybe they'll bring Imposs back into the setlist this summer? Wishful thinking

Cheers

Pat
