Any plans on the table yet for peeps getting together before the first and/or second Toronto shows at the Hummingbird??
Would be cool to have a few beverages with everyone beforehand...

Okay, I'm not very familiar with what's around the Hummingbird. Any good pubs or bars we could hit before the show for some eats and a few brewskies?? Suggestions, anyone?? Jeffro????

Okay, clink on this link...it states that all these places are near The Hummingbird. Anyone know if any of these places would be appropriate for a gathering??

I highly recommeded the Upfront bar and grill. I used to go there almost every day while I was at school to down a couple beers, play some cards and chill with with buds. The food is good, the wings are good and they treat ya really well. It's on the corner of George st and Front street.

Hi all,
There are a ton of places to gather, what I highly recommend is around the corner on The Esplanade at "The Beer Market" next to Finn McCool's.
You go east past The Hummingbird half a block to Church St., turn right, then turn right on The Esplanade.
I am Bryan, and I will be there with a few folks on both nights. We will chat as it gets closer.

I also have heard The BEER MARKET is a real cool spot ! For any who want to see inside the Hummer for seating... go to http://www.hummingbirdcentre.com/lobby.htm and click on the pic with the red seats... it gives you a little idea of the layout.

I am going to Hunt down a place make a call or 2 and get us a hook up with some where that knows we're coming and will guarantee us some Pre-show "Hip Tunes"... Let's do this right folks!
Here's a map of the area http://www.hummingbirdcentre.com/assets ... map011.gif
So we are looking at somewhere on The Esplanade or Front St.

Hey guys,
We should really meet at The Beer Market. It's big, cool and right there.
Give them a call to see if they will play some Hip for us. Maybe if a few of us bug them play the fellas, they will figure it out.
Cheers,
Mats AKA Bry.
