#1

Just wondering if anyone has set any show limits for themselves? I have already got three lined up here! Confusedhock: This is getting outta hand. Anyone finding it hard to control their ticket buying?

Very tough to do, I mean especially when they play within 5 hours of home...ie)Buffalo, Darien, Rochester, Toronto, Hamilton, Syracuse, Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh, etc..

I think I am going to set my limit to 4, 2 big shows (Molson Amp, Darien) and 2 smaller venues! We'll see what happens.

My limits are set geographically. No matter the number of shows, I'm dedicated to BC & Washington (and Alberta somewhat, dependent on location). I'd kill to live in T.O.!

Summer is tough, what with work and all. I'm taking in the Amp and Darien Lake for sure, maybe one more....but once schools starts, and a full tour? Based on previous tours I'd say 5+ shows...you got to look at it, we don't know how many more of these tours there's even going to be. Better get it while it lasts...

Elaborate please?

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

I think you might be the only one to kill to live in T.O., haha

With a baby coming in the next 2-3 weeks ...this Tour will be a tad more challenging for me. I have tix for July 1.... that I will hopefully use or may have to sell.... the secret show(s) are a chance and maybe a Sudbury since my inlaws are there.... then if they do clubs in the fall... we'll see... but it won't be my usual 5-7 show tour

I think we'd all hope they would make records and play live until they simply cannot stand. It's tough, because as we know, they've said they take their cues on how to be a rock and roll band from the mighty Rush, and those guys are still playing, some would say for too long now. But with the prospect of families, etc. one has to wonder-I don't mean to spark a whole new debate, but by the time this tour is over, I'd bet it's going to be well in 2005, which puts all of them over 40, no? All you can wonder is how much time these fathers can spend away from their children.

I guess I should've clarified that I'd only do it for select time frames, the month of July being an excellent example. Take extended vacations there, nothing permanent Smile

I doubt it will be 55 shows on this tour (I did 55 shows for IVL) for me this time out but we will see. I still need to see the Hip in Europe. I have no limitations. :-)
