Saw this on the web today, hehehe how many people think the rest of the band got sick and tired of Mr. " I'm the new Jesus" Stapp? :lol:

NEW YORK - The spiritually inclined band Creed, whose anthemic hits "Higher" and "With Arms Wide Open" helped them become one of the top-selling rock acts of the past decade, has called it quits.

Three former Creed members immediately announced they were forming a new band — minus singer Scott Stapp (news) — but were quick to say it was not "just Creed with a different singer."

the others formed a band called alter bridge and the cd comes out august 8 th i think

Their website stated they were all working on solo projects anyways so I assumed they were done. I liked them, I don't know why, just the hard guitar I guess it was, ah well, bye creed.

Just remember, everyone, to each his own. Creed isn't exactly my cup o' tea myself - but that doesn't mean other people can't like them.
