Fame is a big illusion. The hip are waking to their lives. Why don't you all wake to yours. Idolizing, living in fear,..."Your all a bunch of Slaves"....remember who said that? Buy the album..listen to it ...get whatever out of it that you may...then get on with your life. There is one thing to build your relationship with and it ain't the Hip.
What is it then?

In between evolution is a choice. We are all waking up for ourselves. Some are musicians....some are magicians...some are beauticians....and some work at McDonalds.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quote:Be,
as water is,
without friction.

Flow around the edges
of those within your path.

Surround within your ever-moving depths
those who come to rest there and enfold them,
while never for a moment holding on.

Accept whatever distance
others are moved within your flow.

Be with them gently
as far as they allow your strength to take them,
and fill with your own being
the remaining space when they are left behind.

When dropping down life's rapids,
froth and bubble into fragments if you must,

knowing that the One of you now Many,
will just as many times be one again.

And when you've gone as far as you can go,
quietly await your next beginning."

Think Jamez Douglas (Morrison) said that Confusedcratch:

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Well, you repeated this stuff, so I'll repeat mine

Josh, you're as talented as you are wrong.

And... ladies and gentlemen: the new Whorella.

Jenna, i don't think there was an insinuation that the poetry thread is wrong, it appears bauer just doesn't like the non-hip section of the hipbase.

Hmmm...interesting. I believe it was good old Jimmy Morrison who uttered that particular quote. Shouldn't you be hanging out in a philosphy forum? Not sure if you know her, but you and Whorella would get along famously. In any case, welcome to the group. We're all friends here!

Hey Jenna,

I dig the poetry thread. I just think josh's rambling should go in the poetry thread as it kinda sounded like poetry to me.

Listen Josh... being a poet, I know all too well the horrible monster that is PLAGIARISM....

Next time you wanna post a poem like the one above you might wanna throw this little baby in (otherwise people might think you wrote it);

© Noel Frederick McInnis (The dude who really wrote it)

The poem can be found here:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.forgivenessday.org/choosingforgiveness/flow%281%29.htm">http://www.forgivenessday.org/choosingf ... 281%29.htm</a><!-- m -->

"The... poem, entitled "Flow," has assisted thousands of persons worldwide in finding forgiveness and other comfort in the face of inconsolable loss, catastrophic illness, impending death, and other tragic circumstances."

The only catastrophe here is you "looking for a place to happen." (That and a Nautical Disaster)

Good job at routing out this fraud , I imagine he's busy posting this attention seeking plagiarism on any number of forums.
