I like to think that our band has been doing this music thing because of our mutual love of the music. What else would have gotten us through empty bars in Oshawa, Ontario, and a thousand requests for “New Orleans is Sinking” and “Free Bird”? We’ve always done our best to avoid the trappings of ego, chart positioning and record sales, and measured our success in terms of song and music.

That's interesting.. I will dig out something I read too.. where The Trews say they are a little reminiscent of The Tragically Hip.. gotta a love a band that lists their influence as being The Hip..
