If the Hip's new album was bootlegged from the studio...

Would you listen to the new album before the official release?

I'll go with A , in a heartbeat , any decent Hip fan would buy it anyway , and the anticipation is killing me. Whether it's today with a bootleg copy or on the release date , the surprise is the same . :thumb:

I would be all over it like a fat kid with cake.

I need 2 Kingston Tickets, please help.

I wouldn't because it would spoil the surprise, not necessarily immoral. If it was a band I was lukewarm on and deciding whether to go out and buy the album on its day of release, I'd download it and have a listen first...but for my favourite bands I try and wait until either the radio premier, or release date to listen.

well, either way i know i will be buying at least 1 copy once its (finally) released, so i would absolutely download it. as for the surprise factor, i say 'meh'...sooner the better, living in and embracing the age of immediacy. as for immorality, i say hogwash

I would definitely wait it out as hard as that sounds to do. I wouldnt want to ruin the surprise. If you dont load it and then buy it, the only surprize is the booklet and art work. I personally rather be surprized by the whole package

I agree with that one. I'm gonna buy it regardless of whether I hear it beforehand or not. Even if I heard terrible things about it I'd still buy it.

I'd totally download it then buy two copies when it's released. One for me and one as an anonymous gift for my a**hole neighbour who thinks The Hip are "old-news".

That's exactly what I did with Music@Work. Gave the other copy to a friend of mine.
