Does anyone know if you have to wear a helmet at an outdoor rink in Manitoba? Last time I was on a outdoor rink was about 6 years ago in Alberta.
I am can't wait, I love the outdoor rink :jump

Here's the ultimate site for backyard rink rats:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.hpurchase.com/backyard.htm">http://www.hpurchase.com/backyard.htm</a><!-- m -->
It's run by a guy in St. John's...check out the pictures section for some incredible rinks...
I built one last year and the year before (just to see if I could) but took a pass this year...I really missed it...next year, I'm definitely doing it again...

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought,compromised,detoured,lured away,turned back,diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice,hesitate in the presence of adversity,negotiate at the table of the enemy,ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Maybe Canadian Bacon had it wrong... "The government urges American citizens to remain calm, despite the fact that Canada has amassed 90% of its population within 100 miles of the US border, all the while maintaining a frightening lead in zamboni technology."
If the Americans can build their own zambonis...it could all be turned around..
The horror...the horror...
