I have this playing in my office today. Gord introduces Thugs as "a song about the way Dustin Hoffman treats women". Man, this guy wasn't only a genius he could see into the future. Not making light of the whole sexual harassment gong-show in Hollywood, but Mr. Hoffman must have had quite the reputation even back then for Gord to mention it.
Great show by the way...

I assumed it had more to do with his role in Tootsie. There was this interview from 2012 that really gives some context (and would seem less thoughtful if these new allegations are true) but doesn't quite explain how Gord saying this in 1995. Maybe inferred from the movie, or met Hoffman and talked about it (seems unlikely.) https://www.today.com/popculture/dustin ... 6C10578440
