With Day for Night finished (congratulations Nautical Disaster!) we're on to Trouble at the Henhouse. So far we have:
EP - Smalltown Bringdown
UTH - New Orleans is Sinking
RA - Three Pistols
FC - Locked in the Trunk of a Car
DFN - Nautical Disaster
Vote for the song you believe to be the weakest on Trouble at the Henhouse and after 48 hours, we will remove the three songs that have the most votes. As before, a song must have at least 10% of the vote in order to be removed otherwise it will carry forward into the following round.
The poll will end Sunday at 10:10am Eastern.
Happy voting!

Hot on the heels of the fierce Day For Night final showdown between Grace Too and Nautical Disaster, I foresee another hotly contested final battle here again -- this time between Coconut Cream and Butts Wigglin!

Coco, then any of Butts, Apartment Song, or Let's Stay Engaged (even though its fantastic), then 700 Ft, then Sherpa, then Flamenco, then for some reason people will shiv Springtime, then Gift Shop will go for being bloated and overrated, and it will come down to DWD, ABAC, and the scrappy Put it Off for purists. And then ABAC will square off against DWD and win even though DWD should.
It is known,

Somebody mentioned in a prior thread how the end of Coconut Cream seemed like one of those cop outs when a band doesn't know how to end a song... but I recall reading before that the power went out at the recording studio during the take that ended up on record, hence the abrupt drop off plus jet sound...?
Am I taking crazy pills?
Anyways, I don't think Coconut Cream is anywhere near as bad as people make it out to be. I was def surprised to hear that it came dead last in the Yer Favourites fan vote.

At this rate, only coconut cream will be eliminated. The others won't meet the mandatory 10%

A vote for “Put it off” in the first round? Clear evidence of Russian tampering in this democratic process.

While there certainly is some filler on this album (Cream I'm looking at you - although the riff is pretty cool) I think ABAC will be tough to beat. I really love Don't Wake Daddy, Flamenco is phenomenal as well, and of course Giftshop is glorious, too. If the showdown between Grace and Nautical didn't make my head explode, this round might finish me off!

I think we all know that ABAC is gonna come out on top in this one. Gift Shop and Put it Off might give it a run for it's money, but ABAC is one of the Hip's most iconic songs, if not THE most iconic.
