Look at all those Nowheresvilles he's touring in the States...what the hell is wrong with coming to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg? He could easily sell out a show there. I'll be out west this summer and I was hoping to catch them for the first time.

Besides, when you have as much money as he does, you don't even NEED to sell out a show to make ends meet. There are lots of Canadian cities who deserve tour dates, especially in light of the fact that he's touring CUYAHOGA FALLS and EAST TROY. Who ever heard of East Troy?

I'm not a fan. But that sucks he's not taking the Canadian fans into consideration. Confusedhock: I think I may have heard of East Troy..I'm thinking it's in Michigan? Confusedcratch:

...raises hand.

All comes down to money and cost benifits though I'm sure. I'd love to see a show out west this summer though. Dosn't look like he'll ever tour anywhere in Canada other than Van and Toronto though.

East Try is home to the Aplin Ampitheatre. most major touring acts stop there. it is supposed to be an amazing venue.

it does not surprise me that they are not touring canada. but we usually get 4 dates: vancouver, toronto, ottawa and montreal.

First of all..it is a "them" DMB is a band..not just Dave alone
Second, the places they tour are not Nowheresvilles..
Third: They base most of their tours HERE in the states, because this is where their albums sell.....

Once again, a THEY..not a he
True, they do have alot of money, but they also only profit about $10 per ticket sold, after costs....much of their profits then get donated to charities...So yes, they do make ends meet, but they also give so much back to society. Once again, the Canadian dates...
They go where the most records sell.

They make decisions collectively, along with Coran Capshaw who is the touring manager

highwaygirl28 (sorry i don't know your name), thank you for posting that. i didn't have time to reply to all that.

also, about the canadian dates: all of their expenses are paid in US dollars, so it gets expensive to tour up here. even tho our dollar is stronger now than it was before.

also, you have to think about venue availability. maybe the molson center and BC place were not available when they needed them.

Also in mind...there is not a new album out to support on tour...that may have had an impact on the dates in Canada also.
