The Weakest Link - Road Apples - Round 5
#1

A more challenging decision than the previous round; no clear favourite for weakest song but we end up saying goodbye to Fiddler's and Cordelia. On to Round 5!

Eliminated in Round 1:
Born in the Water
Bring it all Back
Fight

Eliminated in Round 2:
On the Verge
The Last of the Unplucked Gems
The Luxury

Eliminated in Round 3:
Twist My Arm

Eliminated in Round 4:
Fiddler's Green
Cordelia

Again, choose the song you think is the weakest on the album from those remaining. After 48 hours, the song with the most votes will be eliminated and we'll do round six.

Happy voting!

Note - voting will end Monday at 9:12am Eastern.

I've spoken to Three Pistols and they do not accept your apology. You are off their Christmas card list. Smile

At this point, the only way for me to decide is to think about which song I could listen on repeat the longest. That logic says that Long Time Running is my vote this round.

I endorse mark's reasoning above. LTR probably does have more staying power than TP, great as that song is.

It's a pleasant surprise that TP made the cut - I thought it was going down - and in making the last round it has met an honourable fate. 'Little Bones' is not my choice for best track on the album (that'd be Fiddler's Green) but I'll choose it over either of these two surviving alternatives.

After being on the brink of elimination in round 3 (one vote away), TP looks like it may go all the way to the final. Gotta love a good comeback story!

So hard; love all three songs but with Fiddler's gone, my favourites of those remaining are the two rocking songs.

Still hard to vote against Long Time Running - love the song, especially the lyrics and hearing it at the beginning of the documentary gave me chills.

Such a tough decision, but I had to go with Little Bones. I know it's a massive iconic hit, killer guitar riff intro, great lyrics, and a stellar guitar solo by Rob at the end, but LTR and TP for me personally beat it out, just by the slimmest margin.

It was still hard to click on though.....I feel dirty and ashamed of myself..... :what

I can't believe Little Bones is losing Confusedhock:

I wonder if LTR would have done this well without the documentary?
