Tragically Hip Canada Day?
#1

Just thinking out loud - that might be a nice curtain call to play Canada Day at Parliament Hill. Huge event on an anniversary year for Canada, and probably a handful of songs over 15 minutes so not overly taxing from a physical standpoint. That would be a nice curtain call.

I live in Ottawa and Ottawa has not shut up about 2017 since the day I moved here. I work in hospitality, I'm so over 'Ottawa 2017' already.

This would be the one thing that could pull me back in haha

I would be shocked if this happened.

I see little chance in this. With the Hip's previous comments about playing Canada day (stuff about the perils in combining drinking and flag-waving) and Gord's recent comments that we should be really celebrating hope for the next 150 years, rather than the past 150, I just don't see this happening.

I don't see this happening either. He's been quite critical of celebrating the past 150
