Hey All! We're bringing the show to Toronto. That's right, after 10 years, we've finally been invited to Canada in the dead of winter and we couldn't be more excited! So be cool, my babies, and listen up!
We will be taping 4 shows from Tuesday, February 10 through Friday, February 13 at the historic Elgin Theatre. For ticket and show information please click here.
Some of the Canadian and non-Canadian celebrities lined up for this unprecedented road show include comedy superstars Mike Myers and Adam Sandler, Stompin' Tom Connors, Michael J. Fox, "Will & Grace" star Eric McCormack as well as musical guests Nickelback and Barenaked Ladies and Canadian comedian Ron James. More guests will be announced at a later date.
No Hip yet, but cross your fingers!

i saw the full lineup in the toronto sun last week, the hip are not included in the show. Should be a great show... he vists the border, tim hortons and a maple leaf practice!

I hate to say it Lance, but the Hip probably aren't "big" enough stateside to merit a gig on Conan...
Other than Stompin' Tom, every other announced guest, musical (BNL, Nickelback :roll: ) or otherwise (Michael J. Fox, Jim Carrey, Mike Myers, Erik McCormack) has made an impact in the US, and with American ratings still the ultimate brass ring this week, the Hip don't really "fit"...
That said, it should be fun to watch; the Elgin is a great venue...

Maybe not big enough, but certainly good enough! :thumb: I wonder why the Hip's new management didn't try to get them on? Or maybe they did and got no where who knows.

I decided to watch last night's...I was up that late and it was the last night of the TO stint, so why not. It wasn't bad. I still can't stand Conan at all, but he had some good material. I wonder how many of his jokes Americans "got", or if they all considered it a total waste of time. I expected him to make fun of Canada for the Americans watching, but he totally made fun of Canada for Canadians. Gotta respect that.
The Triumph video doesn't work for me...I really want to see it because I heard about what he says when he's ripping Quebec and I think it sounds awesome!

Never mind...it does work, it just takes about 10 minutes to connect. I sent it to my friend and he got the same thing so if you're trying to watch it, it's working...just give it a while.

Thanks for that link. I could never force myself to stay up long enough to watch it. I saw it on the clips on the news...I guess some people thought that it went a bit far. I thought it was quite funny. :lol: You got to love how Quebecers are nice and friendly until they discover you don't speak French, their whole attitude towards you changes....that is with the exception of most people in Montreal. I think they had it coming. I also love how Quebec is the province that receives the most Federal funding out of all the other Provinces. I'm not even sure they could support themselves on their own...yet they want to separate. God that annoys me! But than again I guess the amount of people that want to separate is about 35%. But still. Anyway sorry for that rant.

Can some one elaborate on what he said or did? I seen wednesdayz show with Mike Myers,wasn't too half ass baggy.He said something about the CN Tower being a big Penis :lol:

Conan sent his puppet dog to Quebec City to cause a ruckus. Although I was fairly impressed with all four of his shows in Toronto, this was completely innapropriate. Not only did he tear apart Quebec for cheap laughs from the American audience, but he falsely implied there is a deep social dislike towards Quebec looming in every Canadian. The comments made on the show were nothing short of racism. Most of the victims were full heartedly laughing at the eomments, but I honestly wonder how many takes they must have taken for that 5 minute skit. I don't live in Quebec, I don't believe in their principles and have learned to tolerance their ignorance, but that was just wrong.
