I've never, ever been more excited about a major league sports franchise in my 44 years on this here planet. The Pats always win; that's boring. The Leafs always lose; that's boring. The 2015 Toronto Blue Jays roster as of August 1st may be the finest collection of baseball players I've ever, personally, witnessed. What about the 1992 or 1993 Jays you say? Who knows! Back then you couldn't watch & listen to all 162 games on the MLB app or Sportsnet, which I do. Alex Anthopoulos has pulled off a year that may go down as the greatest year in the history of general managers. The HUGE added bonus is that my 8 & 6 year old sons are just as excited as I am. Thank you Alex Anthopoulos. Even if they miss the playoffs, they'll still have a GREAT team for years to come, AND, they're never, ever, never out of a game.

I'm a diehard jays fan, and I'm thrilled with the players they have acquired. The prospects given up may turn out to be great, but at some point, they have to try and win in the present. Great job Anthoupoulous, the fans are behind you and the team.

I was 5 years old the last time the Jays were in the playoffs....

I went to the games last Friday & Saturday vs. the Tigers. Orgasmic is all I can say!!!!!! Osuna's save last Friday night was as loud as I've ever heard the Skydome. Saturday's 15-1 rout combined with Edwin's HAT TRICK was positively amazing!!!! Can't wait to go back for the playoffs.

I am fully on the bandwagon! I've always been a Jays fan, but it's been so damn long since they've been in the playoffs, I've been sort of indifferent in recent years. But this season has been all kinds of fun, and I can't wait to see them in the playoffs again. This is gonna be great!

I'll date myself with this post but I remember buying $4 Exhibition Stadium grandstand seats from our local Dominion store (later acquired by A&P and National Grocers). My girlfriend then, and wife now for 26 years has a photo album (remember those) full of ticket stubs including a few choice ones from the Eastern Championship games in 1989. The days of Gaston, Moseby and Bell, and the glory that was to follow in 92 and 93 seem ancient now. Really looking forward to this run!

One of the seriously coolest things ever happened to me and my wife....we got to go to game 3 in Texas last sunday and got left field seats. Tulowitzski was at bat in the 6th and i heard a Rangers fan a few rows back talking about him hiting .000 so far and blah blah blah, I turned to my wife and told her I was going to help Tulo break his slump by recording a homerun...I hit record on my camera and he smoked the next pitch to the section on my right. It was the only 8 seconds of vid I recorded the whole night!!! Video is shit but damn, still can`t believe it happened!!
