In the L.B.U. album during Courage when Gord is singing "and piss on all your surroundings after the last time he says and PISS On it sounds like someone says Gordy right after, hence you hear "AND PISS ON GORDY"
Did Paul say it or did GOrd sinclair and was it meant to be a burn on Gord?

Na,all in good fun, think they do that in a couple live versions of Courage I've heard, can't think of what gigz off hand........ :?
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Here's the gag. Gord Downie himself says it. In concert, during the "surroundings" line, he mimics pissing his name in the snow. He points to it, and yells, "Gordie!".
That's the gist...
