I have dived into Phish these last 1.5 years. I've been blown away, and becoming a Phan has been a rewarding (and time consuming) endeavor. 1.5 years later, and I think I'm just finally getting a grasp on their 'hits'.

Now as per Halloween 2014 in Vegas... I'll be downloading the webcast and rocking it ASAP. Can't wait to hear what Set II was like for myself, as I've read several reviews and still don't quite have a grasp on what they did. I guess it doesn't help in not knowing the 'album' they covered (if you can call it that), but it looks like they tapped into a creative idea and challenged themselves (which would be very hard for most other bands that have been around since the 80s to do).

I know Phish aren't known for their studio efforts, but Fuego is in my top 5 releases of 2014. I keep finding things in that album that move and surprise me.

So, next summer, I'm picking a date, heading to the States, and am going to get my P Fish on for the first time live. I don't know where, I don't know exactly when, but I am more excited to go see this band than any other band at the moment.

I think what took me so long for me to get into is their scary discography.... so many studio albums, and their studio efforts just scratch the surface of what Phish is available.

2013-07-03 - Bangor, Maine is the show/recording that started the ball rolling for me.

Recently, their west coast tour debut show has definitely done the trick for me (2014-10-17 - Eugene, Oregon).

I'm overly excited to download this Vegas run.

Anyways, just like a Phish song I've been going on and on and on, so I better wrap this up and say cheers to any 'Basers that are also Phans!

welcome to the cult ! and club!

set 2 was insane
it was total improve around narration
it was prob the most creative thing they have ever done, I say that because covering an album is a creative idea, however they are just doing what the album tells them

this entire set 2 was total improve and jazz fusion it was insane , all improve and mayhem
than the next two nights they teased it in their songs

as far as this tour

I think the san fran shows and vegas are the ones to listen to

also listen to the chalkdust they played at randalls
and Tahoe tweezer from 13

all of fall 13 was also great

but the real good stuff is the 97 fall tour, total improve funk

I get so frustrated seeing how much phish has evolved and created great new music. than I look at the hip and get depressed !
