I was back and forth about going to see this show but I decided I really want to give it a go. The reviews seem great for the tour and I'm in - I got a single in section 119 row 16 so pretty sweet. anyone meeting up before? FYI I'm the guy who runs rheostaticslive.com if anyone is a rheos fan.

I just bought my ticket on Monday. I was debating as well. I'm going solo. Will be in section 320 row 3.
Hope to see some hipbasers at the show. PM me if you're going. Perhaps a before hand brew if you want.

Looking forward to tonight's show!
I also picked up a single ticket earlier this week (located far from the stage, but you can't win them all). I was at the NYC show and it was awesome! This will be show number '100 and something', I lost count a long time ago.

Wheat Kings had a "wind always acts like it knows so much" tag, which I hadn't heard in 15 years. Has it happened on the tour before tonight?

Nothing I haven't heard before apart from At Transformation but then again I've seen most tours since road apples. Highlights for me were escape, AT, nautical and blow. Plus FC was great especially eldorado. I just realized sitting at a bar listing to a duo do one hand in my pocket that it is wheat kings.

Show was good.....the band sounded great, but no real gems or rarities in the set.
What a pain in the butt for tapers tonight though....

Yes, the setlist was a tad disappointing to me. Have to wait til April to try to get Vapour Trails. Still, any Hip show is a great show. I can just stand there watching Rob the whole night!
Chuckle of the night for me: Gord during Pigeon Camera pointing at the screen at the building - "over there, that's my room". And then pointing somewhere else - "and that's my sister's". Kinda cheesy, but I guess he tries for anything.
Anyone notice any of the old band footage on the screens? I caught an old image of them during Lionized. I'll have to try to look next time to see if they show any more.
Always awesome to hear FMC in the home of the Leafs. And of course, "that night in Toronto" during Bobcaygeon is pretty much a given at any YYZ show.
Also, I really wish they'd raise the screen during Wheat Kings. People really need to see Rob playing that guitar. It sounded amazing last night.

I do wish that they would play a slightly varied setlist in toronto. Every show in toronto they seem to feel like it needs to be a hit singles night. Compared to other shows on the tour it seemed again to be hits heavy. I also wish Gord would stop singing out of phase. Delaying the delivery of every line in some songs in what seems to be an attempt to say fu if u want to try to sing along. I know it is poetic licence and in some cases trying to sing something that maybe he is bored with but it makes it hard to sing along to and get into as much in my opinion.
