I was wondering, whith you guys over 40, is it a game changer in anyway? I got 1 day to enjoy my 30's, at this point it seems all surreal, sorta, let me take you down cuz i'm going to Strawberry Fields, nothing is real......
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought,compromised,detoured,lured away,turned back,diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice,hesitate in the presence of adversity,negotiate at the table of the enemy,ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. Turned 50 last week. You will notice that your ability to discern what is true and right is incrementally enhanced. Your common sense will take over in what otherwise may have been moments of stupidity. Your tastes in music, foods, sensuality and other carnal delights will peak and you will generally be more content and satisfied with your life. Other than that its all pretty much the same. It's really not so bad. The main thing for me is noticing how young people in their 20's and 30's really are.

I have 5 months left in my 30's
My wife asked me what I wanted to do for my fourtieth.. I said 'Hide'
This was apparently the wrong answer.
The one involving Kylie and a tub of goose fat was also the wrong answer.
Although I too am noticing how much younger everyone looks, and I am getting the urge to check if police officers need me to call their mum to make sure they should still be out so late.
Essentially, I'm doomed!!
Still picking up the elderly from the floor, still dealing with the drunks, now wrestling seals and posting it on twitter.. @richardilderton
