fyi: Just found out the Hip are playing in SYracuse OCtober 5th, internet presale started today

Awesome, thanks for the heads up, got my tickets just now for the pit! Looking foward to this one. I talked with Gord Sinclair outside the NYC show and he mentioned that they were going to play Rochester as well, just waiting for a date to be finalized I believe. Most likely will be at Water Street or the Auditorium Center.

the landmark theater, great venue if you have seats in the pit, you are so close you can almost put a drink on the stage! I believe the pit is rows yy and zz! I was talking to another guy, he figures they will play Rochester the night before, hell if they do I will go it is on the way to Syracuse.

I also bought my Syracuse tix - Row YY!! I was stoked. I always check ticketmaster.com every couple of days, since they are always adding on Hip tickets even before The Hip announce the shows to fans (that's how I landed my HOB tix for the Orlando show).

Anywho, found out I have a conflict that night (for Syracuse) and now can't go. Bummer, would have been so cool, as I've seen concerts at Landmark before (incl. The Hip), and it rocks being so close up in the pit! I got AWESOME pix from the last time I was there and in the pit.

But hey, I managed to sell my tix the same day to someone from another Hip newsgroup, so all is well.

Now just waiting for Rochester's announcement...
