It's on Facebook, too. And, obviously, YouTube. Awesome.

I thought so too, but The Hip did just say this:
". . . on Sunday, the guys move into the studio. Expect some clips to surface from this in the near future."

Strange. Rob stated in his interview with Alan Cross (over a year ago), that 3 songs were done and another 4 songs were ready to be finalized.

After this latest update, I'm now convinced that all the so-called 'recording' they were doing at the Bathouse during the course of 2011 was nothing more than writing sessions and rough demo recording. The new songs are obviously completed and ready to record, and they're finally getting to work on the real thing with an actual producer. If this album sees the light of day before the fall, I'll be shocked. We're in for a loooooong wait, folks.

This make no sense, unless they completely scrapped the first recordings. Remember the Rob interview from that volleyball tournament in Kingston last fall. Again, he states they are working on the new album and it should be released this spring...very interesting

Just encouraging to actually see something real happening. I agree with Dire Wolf, maybe the bathouse recordings were merely demo's, rough ideas or maybe the band decided they wanted that "outside the box" push again. Nothing wrong with creativity! Even if the wait is going to be a little longer. There are other theories but I'll hold my tongue on that one...
