Sweet, I wonder if my wife would let me buy that. It would look nice hanging on my wall.

I just cashed in a $500 canada savings bond. Now I had no intention of buying an acoustic guitar but man o man you got me on the edge of my seat with this one. Do you have the papers? If I buy this, you know damn well I might be sleepin on the couch for a few nights.

no Biggie Wes,you could sleep on the couch cuddled up to your guitar! This would look great on your wall, even better considering your going to be in the documentary! Shit I would probably even drive it over to you in Cambridge! Icecubes to an eskimo! lol p.s-i found the paperwork as well.

I ran it by her last night saying with a slight laugh, "could you imagine if I bought that guitar for $500 I would be sleeping on the couch" and all she did was look at me, no words, nothing, just stared at me. I could not read if it was ok or not.

Wes, I was exactly in the the same spot many years ago. 17 guitars, many amps and peddals later she knows better and flat out says no when I ask for another. There is a hard core ban on guitars and gear now so I dont even bother, but in your case I would say go for it. Specially if you plan on playing it, I cant see that beautiful instrument just hanging on a wall collecting dust. Learn a couple of songs she likes and play them for her, it will all be soon forgotten after that.
