what are your thoughts on the new GBV album? I'm really into it but it is a challenging record

It's a great album, but I think Class Clown Spots A UFO tops it. So glad that the classic line-up is back!

haha sorry I haven't checked this board in a while...great question though, and I agree UFO tops factory and I think bears tops UFO if you make a mix CD of all the 2012 GBV tunes it would rival be thousand...donut for a snowman, rolling home/room taking shape, unsinkable fats domino, be impeccable, class clown, breathing, jon the croc, keep it in motion, white flag, she lives in an airport, hangover child....
1. Under The Bushes Under The Stars - beginning to end my favorite GBV record, it's a great driving companion
2. Alien Lanes - always inspires me to pick up the guitar - not worry about what things are sounding like but just call over my friends make some noise and have a good time. The melodies though are incredible...
3. Half Smiles of the Decomposed - this is a tight rocknroll album...and Huffman prairie flying field I think of being GBV's mantra (the field that hosted many failed experiments from the Wright Bros and many glowing successes as well...'the hole I dig is bottomless but nothing else can set me free' being another GBV mentality of the sort)
I tried to throw a curveball and not include bee thousand because it makes so much to have it at #1 that I didn't include it...if that makes sense

5. Back To The Lake
6. Hardcore UFO's (Are you amplified to rock?)

so many good tunes and Im always discovering new ones...its fun being a GBV fan
