They played several new songs (Streets Ahead, Drip Drip Drip, and Transformation) at their summer shows this year. They've said in various interviews that the band is recording a new album. It sounds as though Gord Sinclair might be producing it. And we should expect the album in the New Year. I'm guessing the spring.

I would but $1000 of those fantasy bucks that mabey it will be released around the time of the Bobcageyon movie. The best thing would be some kind of package where you get the movie and new cd by christmas time would be best as that was the projection date for the movie release.

You mean we've hit the level of maturity where we realize that stealing from any artist, let alone our favourite band, isn't okay? Sweet.

Wouldn't it be less divisive if we all just discussed our opinions on abortion rights?

I find it hard to believe that there is actually a Hip fan who would download an advanced crappy MP3 version and not buy the official version when it was released.

Well, I for one don't know where the basis for a debate is. Theft is wrong; and I encourage anyone who illegally steals music to volunteer to work unpaid at *their* job and see how they like it, because that's exactly what they're proposing their favourite bands do. The self-righteous hypocrisy is so rank it suffocates.

I am not giving my opinion on right or wrong but I can guarantee even if people on this forum did download in advance because they were jonesing for their Hip they probably bought more then one copy...pre-order or something like that when it came out...I myself have 3 so they got my money and that is fine...I will be doing it again!
