Original Red/White Hip Jersey for sale
#1

I searched the Forum Rules (there aren't many!), but I hope I'm not violating any unspoken rule about selling hip memorabilia. If there is, please lock/delete this thread. I didnt think it was appropriate for the trading forum since its not a show recording.

Anyway, I've had one of the old red hip jerseys forever and never worn it. I loved it but I'm looking to field offers.

It's size M/L. In pristine shape. If anyone's interested PM me.

Thanks.

Ok. I just came back to my computer to lots of interest and i feel bad cause I can't judge who has first dibs.

I'm going to do this silent auction style. everyone submit a price, highest price gets it.

Don't be a greedy prick. Post your price and sell it.

All emails and PMs have time stamps so your claim of not knowing who was first is a load of horseshit.

Post it on fleabay if you want an auction.

wtf? fair enough. auction closed. first and highest offer already received wins.

i know who actually sent it first, but i dont open them in chronological order and i already replied to one person before realizing there was more interest, and nobody offered a price. i don't know what its actually worth, so i asked for offers.

sorry for causing everyone the trouble.

with respect to you: nobody forced you to make an offer, so mind your business.

Dude, I get that you're totally turned off by The Hip right now. So why keep coming here to slag them?

Thats funny...and I like the jersey. I said it would fetch some beer money didn't I? Us old folks just want to hear some of the old tunes. Nothing to be bitter about, but, I get tired of Courage in the setlist for 20 years with so many great tunes that could be played. And don't tell me the crowd wouldnt shit their pants if they played Highway Girl or The Weight or something like that. Who gives a fuck about the fair weather fans...give your diehards what they want. Seems like a valid point that is shared by many longterm supporters. Hey did I win the jersey?

Its not like the Stones are known for mixing it up much, but I have to admit I do like the layout of their setlists. Over the past few tours they always seem to change it up and throw in 3 or 4 nuggets at about 1/3 of the way through the show. Yes, you are going to hear Satisfaction, Jumping Jack Flash, etc. but its always great to be surprised and hear Neighbours, Black Limousine, Rip This Joint, All Down The Line, Sway, Bitch, Can't You Hear Me Knocking....all well worth hearing Satisfaction for the 50th time

If the Hip throw in 3 or 4 nuggets in a concert, I am willing to hear (and enjoy) Courage for the 50th time as well.
